Repair Terms and Conditions
Corner Stone Tech Solutions always uses new parts or components while working on your device. All repairs will be covered for 90 days. If your device should malfunction, it must be returned to the Corner Stone Tech Solutions for evaluation. Corner Stone Tech Solutions service department will diagnose the repair upon receipt. Upon examination by Corner Stone Tech Solutions, if your device is found to be defective it will be repaired and parts replaced at no charge. This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from any action by you, including but not limited to mishandling, physical damage, water damage, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, improper repair by someone other than Corner Stone Tech Solutions, use of any other product other than Corner Stone Tech Solutions products, or unauthorized modification. This warranty is VOID if your device shows evidence of having been tampered with (broken seal) or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion; or current, heat, moisture or vibration; improper specification; misapplication; misuse; abuse or other operating conditions outside of Corner Stone Tech Solutions control.
I understand that Corner Stone Tech Solutions is not responsible for any data loss, which may occur as a result of work done on my electronic device. I also understand that I have the option to, and I am solely responsible for backing up the device before allowing any repair to be performed on my device in the event of any data loss and hardware or software failure.
I understand that repairs or technical support performed by Corner Stone Tech Solutions may void manufacturer warranties, especially in the case of iOS device repairs. Corner Stone Tech Solutions does not assume any liability or warranty in the event that the manufacturer warranties are voided.
If Corner Stone Tech Solutions does not receive payment within 30 days after invoice date and after repeated efforts to contact you, Corner Stone Tech Solutions shall treat the device as abandoned and in lieu of payment Corner Stone Tech Solutions will reserve the right to recycle your device, including sale to recoup administrative and repair costs.
By placing an order for repair, estimation, or a free estimate service you certify that you agree and understand the following:
A free repair estimate is only applicable if you choose to have the phone repaired or otherwise serviced, or if you do not want the phone back and request for it to be recycled. If you do not want your phone repaired or if it is unrepairable, a $20 fee will be assessed.
All repair work, attempts, and parts are not refundable. Any physical damage and or liquid damage will not be covered by warranty. Corner Stone Tech Solutions is not responsible for any further damage that may result from any estimation or repair attempt. If customer supplies parts or spares for repair, warranty does not apply.
Water and liquid damage repairs may require additional replacement parts that will be quoted to the customer at time of liquid damage assessment.
I authorize Corner Stone Tech Solutions technician(s) to perform repair work on my electronic device. I understand that Corner Stone Tech Solutions technicians have been trained to perform work on electronic devices. Further, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold Corner Stone Tech Solutions from liability for any claims or damages of any kind or description that may arise from any repair work performed on my electronic device, unless it is cause by severe negligence of Corner Stone Tech Solutions or its agent.
NOTICES AND PROCEDURE FOR MAKING CLAIMS OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
Refer to the Canadian Copyright Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. C-42) at https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/C-42/page-1.html#docCont and any notifications of claimed copyright infringement under the Canadian Copyright Act should be sent to the Service Provider's Designated Agent.
